DELTA SR. HIGH SCHOOL PROM 2013

PROM IS SATURDAY, MAY 11TH, at the Delta American Legion.  Doors will open at 7:00 pm, Dinner at 7:30 to 8:30, Dancing 8:30 to 11:00 and after prom at Delta Sr. High School 12:00 to 3:30 am.  The Cost is $30.00 and for after Prom only $15.00.  Tickets are on sale:  Wed., 4/17 thru 4/26 (to guarantee a t shirt) during lunch.  They will also be on sale before school April 23 thru 25th.

Parents, Graduates, and families,

We sincerely apologize for the late change; however due to conflicts on the original date, we have moved the date for Graduation.  We will have Graduation on Sunday June 2, 2013 at 2 pm at the High School Stadium. We are having replacement announcements printed by Jostens at no charge, for all of those that ordered invitations.  As soon as they are ready we will get them to you.  There will be the same number of new announcements printed as announcements that were ordered, so everyone will be able to get the number they need.  Jostens has handed out the announcements, caps, gowns, etc. that were paid in full, so if your senior did not receive theirs please contact Mrs. Roe.  If you have not received them and they were not paid in full, you will need to contact Jostens.

Make-up Day

The last day for students is now May 30th.  This is an early release day with teacher work day in the afternoon.  Please put this on your calendars and make plans accordingly.  Thank you.

DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

YEARBOOK:  Starting Feb., 4th through April 30th, our DHS Yearbook Staff will be promoting our 2nd Yearbook sales campaign.  This will be the last chance to reserve a copy of this year's full color yearbook.  Please make checks payable to PDY Schools and give your order form to Mr. Bostater or a yearbook staff member.  Also, unlike other years, we are not raising the price.  The price will remain $50.

GUIDANCE:  The Teen and Family Transition Night is an event for students currently on an IEP, to provide information on the transition from middle school to high school and high school to college and career.  The event will take place at the Northwest Ohio ESC in Archbold on April 25th from 6-8:30 pm.  Colleges and community agencies will be there to share their resources.  More information is available on our Guidance Website.

FOUR COUNTY:  Students interested in Four Cpounty's summer school, information and applications are available in Mrs. Fuerstenau's Office.  We will make another announcement when DHS summer school information is available.

FFA:  Congratulations to the Delta FFA Envirothon teams for placing at yesterdays Area 1 Event.  Envirothon teams were tested over their knowledge of soils, wildlife, forestry, aquatics an environmental issues.  Placing 3rd out of 52 teams were members Jacob Willson, Kylee Hines, Grant Yoder, Tyler Fraker and Dylan Nostrant.  This team will now advance to state competition in June.  Also congratulations to the team of Todd Miller, Zeb Hites, Ale Nash, Grant Hildreth and Luc Scott for placing 6th out of 52 teams.

DELTA H.S. ARTISTS:  take top three awards in "The Best of Fulton County Art Show"  Out of 60 pieces of art our students were Best of Show, Hailey Atkinson, First Place, Emily Thomas and 2nd place to Makenzie Whitson. Congratulations to these students and all who participated they did a great job.

DEL-AIRES AUDITIONS:  Tuesday, April 30th, 3:00 - 4;30 PM, Thursday, May 2nd 3:00 - 4:30 pm and Friday, May 3rd 3:00 - 4:30 pm, in the High School Choir room.
